What the app tracks

While you have PoolAxis open during your shift, your location is shared with your office approximately every 5 minutes. This allows your admin to see where you are on your route, check that jobs are running on time, and give customers an accurate ETA if they call in.

When sharing is active

Location sharing is active while you're using the app's main work screens — the Today, Jobs, Schedule, Search, and Alerts tabs.

What your office can see

Your admin can see your location on a live map from the web portal. This is used to monitor route progress, not to track your personal movements outside of work.

Setting up location permissions

PoolAxis will ask for location permission when you first sign in. You'll need to allow access for the app to work correctly during your shift.

If you need to enable permissions after declining them:

• iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → PoolAxis → select While Using the App
• Android: Settings → Apps → PoolAxis → Permissions → Location → Allow while using the app
