Quick Start Guide
New to PoolAxis? This covers everything from accepting your invite to finishing your first service.
1. Accept your invite
Your admin will send you an email invite. Open it, tap the link, and set your password.
2. Download the app
Search PoolAxis in the App Store or Google Play and install it. Sign in with the same email address your admin invited you with.
3. Get to know the five tabs
PoolAxis has five tabs at the bottom of the screen:
| Tab | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Today | Your day at a glance — progress, next stop, route, alerts |
| Jobs | Your run sheet — work through pools one by one |
| Schedule | A 7-day look ahead |
| Search | Find a customer by name or address |
| Alerts | Messages and flagged readings from the office |
Start each morning on Today, then switch to Jobs to start working.
4. Check your Today screen
Open the Today tab. You'll see a greeting, today's weather, and a progress arc showing jobs done versus total for the day. Below that is a NEXT STOP card and a TODAY'S ROUTE timeline of all your stops in order. Any urgent items appear in HEADS UP. See Your Today screen for a full guide.
5. Start a job
Switch to the Jobs tab. Tap the top card (your next scheduled job) to open the job detail screen. Check the pool specs and access notes, then tap Start job.
6. Record the service
Once the job is started, you work through a series of tabs:
- Readings — enter chemical readings (pH, Free Chlorine, Alkalinity, Calcium, Stabiliser, Temperature)
- Cleaning — tick off tasks, note any algae, rate pool condition from 1–5
- Filter — log any filter work (backwash, cartridge, media, or chemical clean)
- Treatment — review recommended chemicals based on your readings, enter actual amounts used
- Photos — take before and after photos of the pool
- Notes — add a note for the customer (they'll see this) and a separate note for the office (internal only)
7. Mark complete
On the final screen, tap Mark complete. The job moves to your Completed list and the service record is available to your admin immediately.
That's it — your first service is done.
